In previous series, Freddie and Jamie had new team mates join them on each leg of the trip including; comedy host Alan Carr, Spice Girl Geri Horner, cricket legend Kevin Pietersen, boxing champion Anthony Joshua, tennis champions Jamie Murray and Novak Djokovik. Also on the road trip, footballer John Barnes, actor Tom Davis, comedian Josh Widdecombe, darts champion Raymond Van Barneveld, footballer Ruud Gullit, Vicky Butlet Henderson, Mark Cavendish and Gernnaro Contaldo.
The captains and their teams visited some of the most famous sporting events in Europe and battled it out in a variety of competitions. Whether it’s scoring from the spot at the San Siro in Italy, stepping up to the oche at the PDC Unibet Premier League darts tournament in Rotterdam, chancing the tables in the famous casinos of Monaco or flower arranging in Holland, the stakes were high as Freddie and Jamie fought to be crowned king of the road.
